Sub:- State Government Business – Schedule of despatch of Bills uniformly in the last week of March,2006 and on 31-03-2006 – Certain Instructions –Issued.

Ref:- Lr No.GBD/HYD/1331 dt.07-03-2006 of Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Local Head Office, Hyderabad.

In the reference cited, the Chief General Manager, State Bank of India has informed the government that most of their branches and also branches of State Bank of Hyderabad, have gone on Core Banking and they will not be in a position to work beyond 10.00 P.M on 31-03-2006 and requested to issue instructions to all the District Collectors and Treasury Officials to accordingly schedule the despatch of bills to branches, so that bills are paid uniformly in the last week of March, and on 31-03-2006 bills may not be sent to branches beyond 9 p.m.

In view of the above, all the District Collectors and Deputy Directors of District Treasury Offices are hereby instructed to adhere to the above suggestion/advise of State Bank of India, which will enable uniform payments in the last week of March, 2006 and they are also instructed not to send bills to branches of State Bank of India and State Bank of Hyderabad beyond 9 p.m. in the last week of March, 2006 and on 31-03-2006.
