ORDER:

 

Government after careful consideration hereby direct that the orders issued in the reference 2nd read above, shall be made applicable to the U.G.C Pensioners who retired prior to 01-01-1996,  drawing UGC  Pay Scales and whose pension was ordered to be consolidated in the light of the orders issued in the reference 1st read above. This is subject to outcome of the W.A.No.1622 of 2004 pending in the Hon`ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh.

 

2.              Accordingly the following amendment is issued to the order 2nd read above.

 

AMENDMENT

 

(1)  After para 8 (3) (ii) of the said G.O. the following shall be added as item (iii).  “those who retired prior to 1-1-1996 drawing UGC Pay Scales and whose pension was ordered to be consolidated in the light of orders issued in the G.O (P) No. 95 Finance (Pension I) Department dated 01-08-2000”.

 

(2)  In para 8(4)(i) of the said G.O. for the words “Those who have been drawing pay in the Revised Pay Scales 2005/ Revised U.G.C./ICAR/AICT Pay Scales of 1986/1996 even if  because of administrative reasons, they have not actually drawn the pay in their Revised Pay Scales as yet.” the words “Those who have been drawing pay in the Revised Pay Scales 2005/ Revised U.G.C./ICAR/AICT Pay Scales of 1996 even if  because of administrative reasons, they have not actually drawn the pay in their Revised Pay Scales as yet.” shall be substituted.
