ORDER:
In the Government Orders first to
eleventh read above, Government have sanctioned Special Pays to various
categories of Government employees.
2. In the Government Orders twelth read
above, Government have sanctioned Special Pays to various categories of
Government employees basing on the recommendations of earlier Pay Revision
Commissions, 1999.
3. In the Government order thirteenth
read above, Government have appointed Sri J. Rambabu, IAS, (Retd.) as Pay Revision
Commissioner. In the Government order
fourteenth read above orders were issued relating to terms and reference of the
Pay Revision Commission. One of the
terms of reference of the P.R.C. was to examine the need for the various
(P.T.O.)

Special
Pays, Compensatory and various other Allowances and other perquisites in cash
or kind now allowed and to make recommendations regarding their continuance or
otherwise and if continuance is recommended what modifications, if any are
deemed, desirable with regard to their rates, terms and other conditions which
should govern them in future.

In the Government Order fifteenth read above,
orders were issued on the recommendations of the Anomalies Committee on the
anomalies arising out of recommendations of the Pay Revision Commission, 1999 on
Special Pays and other Allowances.
5.
In the Government Order sixteenth read above,
orders were issued implementing the Revised Pay Scales, 2005 to the State
Government employees.
6. The Pay Revision Commission has
recommended modified Special Pays suggesting fair increase wherever necessary
and also recommended that no Special Pays be paid to any category over and
above of what is recommended.
7. The Government has accepted the
recommendations of the Pay Revision Commission, 2005 and accordingly hereby
order that:
The Special Pays
recommended be sanctioned/discontinued as per column-4 of the Annexure
(enclosed) to this order, to the holders of the posts indicated therein at
column-2, subject to the remarks in column 5 thereof
8. The Revised Special Pays indicated
in the Annexure to this order are admissible only to those already drawing the
amounts shown in column-3 i.e., existing and wherever both 'existing' and
'Revised' Special Pays are shown. The
new sanctions have been clearly indicated as 'nil' amount (or by a dash)
against the column 'existing'.
9. These orders shall come into force
with effect from the date of issue of this G.O.
10. Necessary amendments to the Andhra
Pradesh Manual of Special Pays and Allowances shall be issued in due course.
