ORDER:
In the G.O. first read above, orders were issued implementing the recommendations of the Pay Revision Commission, 1999 with certain modifications in pursuance of the discussions with the Joint Action Committee of Employees, Teachers and Workers of Andhra Pradesh, the Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Union and the A.P. Secretariat Co-ordination Committee with effect from 1st July 1998 with monetary benefit from 01.04.1999. Among other things, it was agreed to constitute a Committee to look into the anomalies that may arise as a result of implementation of the recommendations of the Pay Revision Commission,1999. In the reference second to sixth read above, orders have been issued revising Special Pay and other allowances as recommended by the Pay Revision Commission, 1999. In pursuance of the agreement with the Service Associations mentioned above, Government vide G.O. fourth read above have appointed an Anomalies Committee under the Chairmanship of Sri R.Ramachandra I.A.S., (Retd). The Committee has since submitted its Report to the Government in the reference 8th read above. The Committee among other things, made the following recommendations on Special Pay and other allowances and allied matters:
(i) Enhancement of Special Pays and other Allowances.
(ii) Enhancement of ceiling of Conveyance allowance to the Physically Handicapped employees from Rs.300 to Rs.400 per month.
(iii) Special Allowance of 20% of the basic pay to the faculty members and 10% of basic pay to the other categories in Andhra Pradesh Police Academy.
2. Government have examined the recommendations of the Anomalies Committee and hereby order the revision of Special Pay and other allowances as indicated in the Annexure to the G.O. Revised Special Pay and allowances as indicated against each of the category in Annexure shall be subject to fulfillment of the conditions indicated in remarks column against the concerned category.
3. Government also order revision of Special Allowance to 20% of the basic pay to the faculty members and 10% of basic pay to the other categories in Andhra Pradesh Police Academy, in modification of the orders issued in GO.Ms.No.58 Home (Police-D) Department, dated 18-3-1998.
4. Government have also decided not to entertain any grievances for the rectification of any alleged anomaly arising out of the recommendations of the Anomalies Committee in the wake of constitution of the 8th Pay Revision Commission, as ordered in GO 9th and 10th read
above.
5. Necessary amendments to the Manual of Special Pays and Allowances where ever necessary will be issued separately.
6. These orders will come into force with immediate effect.
7. All the Departments of the Secretariat and Heads of Departments and other authorities concerned are requested to take necessary action to implement these orders.
