ANDHRA APRADESH ORDINANCE No.2 OF 2004

 

 

          Promulgated by the Governor in the Fifty-fifth Year of the Republic of India.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORISE THE WITHDRAWL OF MONEYS FROM THE CONSOLIDATED FUND OF THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH FOR THE SERVICES OF A PART OF THE FINANCIAL YEAR COMMENCING ON THE 1ST APRIL, 2004

 

            WHEREAS, the Legislative Assembly of the State is now not in session and the Governor of Andhra Pradesh is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary for him to take immediate action;

 

            Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 213 of the Constitution of India, the Governor hereby promulgates the following Ordinance:-

 

Short title and Commencement

 

 

Withdrawal of moneys Rs.14578,87,76,000/- from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Andhra Pradesh for a part of the financial year commencing on the 1st April, 2004.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Appropriation.

 

 
1.         (1) This Ordinance may be called the Andhra Pradesh Appropriation (Vote on Account) Ordinance, 2004.

            (2)  It shall come into force at once.

 

2.         The State Government may withdraw from the Consolidated Fund of the State of Andhra Pradesh, sums not exceeding Rs.14578,87,76,000/- (Rupees fourteen thousand five hundred seventy eight crores, eighty seven lakhs and seventy six thousand only) being moneys required to meet,-

 

            (a) the grants made in advance in respect of the estimated expenditure for a part of the Financial year commencing on the 1st April, 2004 as set forth in column (3) of the Schedule; and

            (b) the expenditure charged on the Consolidated Fund of the State of Andhra Pradesh, for the part of the same Financial year, as set forth in column (4) of the Schedule.

 

3.         The sums authorised to be withdrawn from the Consolidated Fund of the State of Andhra Pradesh by this Ordinance, shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the schedule in relation to the said year.
