Sub:- Submission of bills – Acceptance of certain bills under Mid Day Meal Scheme - Certain instructions – Issued.

In the reference 3^rd cited, the Commissioner and Director of School Education, A.P., Hyderabad has brought to the notice of the Government that, certain D.T.Os are not accepting the bills for drawal of amount on Mid Day Meal Programme and stated that the amounts were sanctioned towards administrative costs and implementation of the Mid Day Meal Programme throughout the State. To enable drawal of funds, he has requested to issue necessary instructions to the District Treasury Officers/Sub Treasury Officers for acceptance of the bills for the amounts released during January/March, 2004 for implementation of the Mid Day meal Programme in the State.

In the circumstances stated in the reference 3^rd cited, all the District Educational Officers are permitted to submit the bills up to 31-3-2004 exclusively for the bills relating to Mid Day Meal Programme.

The Director of Treasuries and Accounts, A.P., Hyderabad and Pay and Accounts Officer, Hyderabad are instructed to admit the above mentioned bills into audit up to 31-3-2004. They are also requested to issue necessary instructions to their subordinate offices in this regard.
