Read the following:

1. Consumer Protection Act, 1986.

2. Recommendation of the Committee constituted under ConsumerProtection Act, 1986 in the minutes dated:20-11-1999.

O R D E R:

Government after careful consideration of the recommendations ofthe committe constituted under section 10 (A) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 made inthe reference 2nd read above, hereby order that the following persons be appointed asmembers of District Fora as shown against each below:-

1. Smt.V.J.Praveena, Female Member

2-4-155, Ramnagar, District Forum

Old Bus Depot, Warangal.

Hanmakonda - 506 001.

2. Bushi Jessic Shobha Mrudulanjali Female Member

H.No.11-3-120, Nehrunagar, District Forum

Khammam. Khammam.

3. Smt.M.Shreesha, Female Member

Plot No.142, Road No.10, District Forum

Hyderabad - 500 033. Hyderabad.

 

The above appointments shall be on full time basis. The Membersof District Fora shall hold office for 5 years or upto the age of 65 years whichever isearlier and shall not be eligible for re-appointment. They shall draw a consolidatedhonororium of Rs.3,000/- per month during the terms of their office. The individualsappointed in Para-1 above shall not be entitled for Travelling Allowance or ConveyanceAllowance for attending the office of the District Forum from their place of residence,during the period of their terms of office.

2. Before assuming office, they shall file the undertaking in theprescribed propforma (appended) and their Bio-datea (proforma enclosed.)

3. The appended Notification will be published in English, Teluguand Urdu languages in Andhra Pradesh Gazettee.

4. The Commissioner of Printing, Stationery and Stores Purchase,Andhra pradesh , Hyderabad is requested to publish the

Notification in the next extraordinary issue of the AndhraPradesh Gazettee. He is also requested to send 200 copies of the

Notification to this Department, immediately after publicationfor record.

The Director of Translation, Hyderabad is requested to furnishimmediately translation of notification in the regional languages concerned to theCommissioner of Printing, Stationery and Stores Purchase, Hyderabad to enalble him topublish the same in the Andhra Pradesh Gazettee under intimation to Government.

This order does not require the concurrence of the HomeDepartment vide their Memo.No.489/A/65/1, dated: 10-2-1965.

In exercise of the powers conferred Under Section 10 (1A) of theConsuemr Protection Act, 1986, the Government hereby

appoint the following persons as Lady Members of the DistricForam as shown below:-

The above appointments are on full time basis. The members of theDistrict Fora shall hold office for a term of 5 years from the date of assumption ofcharge or upto the age of 65 years which ever is earlier and shall not be eligible forre-appointment. They shall perform the duties and dischanrge functions in accordance withthe provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 as amended from time to time and Rulesmade thereunder.

 

The Members of the District Fora shall be eligilbe for aconsolidated honourorium of Rs.3,000/- per month. They shall not be entitled forTravelling Allowance or Conveyance Allowance for attending the Offices of the DistrictFora from places of their residences, during the period of their tenure.
