               The following notification will be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazettee :-

NOTIFICATION

               In exercise of the powers  conferred bysub-section (1-A) of section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh (Agricultural Produce and Livestock)Market Act, 1966 (Act 16 of 1966), the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby directs thathaving regard to the mutual agreement between the two Agricultural Market Committees,namely: Penugonda, Attili and Tanuku, West Godavari District, the assets and Liabilitiesof the Agricultural Market Committees, Penugonda shall be apportioned between the saidthree successor Agricultural Market Committees, as specified in the schedules appended tothis notification.

                               The Government hereby authorises:-

(i)                 The Joint Director of Marketing, Vijayawada and Secretary, Agricultural MarketCommittee, Penugonda to effect the apportionment of the assets and liabilities as per thesaid schedules :

(ii)                The Person-in-charge and the Secretary of the Agricultural Market Committee,Penugonda, West Godavari District to encash the fixed deposits, Security deposits etc., ifany, standing in the name of the composite Agricultural Market Committee, Penugonda as andwhen they mature, and to distribute the amount to the concerned Agricultural MarketCommittees, as per the mutual agreement, dated 16.07.1999.and

(iii)               Theamount towards the fluid cash share, as shown in the statement of assets and liabilitiesof the successor Agricultural Market Committee, Attili and Tanuku, West Godavari Districtshall be transferred to the respective Agricultural Market Committee from the funds of thecomposite Agricultural Market Committee, Penugonda. West Godavari District.
