O R D E R :

In the G.O. 3^rd read above, orders were issuedconfirming the powers of the Registrar on the Deputy Registrar/Officer on Special Dutyworking in Cooperative Urban Banks and A.P. State Cooperative Bank by amending the ordersissued in the G.O. second read above.

2.             TheRegistrar of Cooperative Societies, A.P., Hyderabad, in his letter 4^th readabove, has informed that while superseeding the orders issued in G.O. second read above,orders were issued in the G.O. first read above, delegating the powers to varioussubordinate offices and it is observed that orders issued in the G.O. third read above areun-enforceable as the same will not confer any power on the Deputy registrar/Officer onSpecial Duty working in Cooperative Urban Banks and A.P. State Cooperative Bank.  It was also informed that the orders of the Deputyregistrar/Officer on Special Duty were questioned in the Court of Law and stay orders werealso issued in certain cases.  In order toavoid legal complications the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, has requested theGovernment to issues revised orders in this regard.

3.             TheGovernment after careful examination of the proposal of Registrar of CooperativeSocieties, hereby issue the revised orders to amend G.O.Ms.No. 34, Food and Agriculture(Coop.IV) Department, dated 16^th January, 1989 by superseeding the ordersissued in G.O.Ms.No. 176, Agriculture and Cooperation (Coop.IV) Department, dated 1stJune, 1999.

4.             Theseorders shall be deemed to have been come into force with effect from 1^st June,1999.

5.             Thefollowing notification will be published in the Extra-ordinary issue of the Andhra PradeshGazette, dated ………. 2000.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the AndhraPradesh Cooperative Societies Act, 1964 (Act 7 of 1964) and in supersession of thenotification issued with G.O.Ms.No. 176, Agriculture and Cooperation (Coop.IV) Department,dated 1^st June, 1999 the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the followingamendment, to the notification in G.O.Ms.No. 34, Food and Agriculture Department, datedthe 16^th January, 1989.

AMENDMENT

In the schedule to the said notification,after serial No. 4, the following shall be inserted, namely:-
