ORDER:

In the reference read above, the AdditionalCommissioner, Government of India has requested the Government of Andhra Pradesh forestablishment of Agricultural Technology Management Agency(ATMA) by registering as aSociety. The Agricultural Technology Management Agency would be a Society of key stakeholders involved in Agricultural activities for sustainable agricultural development inthe Districts of Prakasam, Chittoor and Adilabad.

  1. It is Governing Body under the Chairmanship of the District Collector and the Project Director of the Agricultural Technology Management Agency as a Member-Secretary. Besides, some official members, it is also proposed to have some non-official members including Agriculturists, one representative from Fisheries/Sericulture/Horticulture, SCs/STs. Women Farmer Interest Group (FIG) Farmers representatives, NGOs etc. The Governining Body would be a policy making body and provide guidance as well as review the progress and functioning of the ATMA.
  2. In the circumstances explained above, Government after careful examination of the proposal hereby accord permission to the District Collectors of Prakasam, Chittoor and Adilabad Districts to constitute ATMA as a Society and register the Society under Act, 21 of the Societies Registration Act,1860.
  3. The rules and Regularations of ATMA, Memorandum of Association of ATMA/Appointment/Nomination/Terms of Members of ATMA/Functions of the ATMA, Governing Body etc., are appended to this orders as Annexure-I to III.
