From the Commissioner & Director ofAgriculture, Lr.No. Crop Ins.(1)/168/97, dt. 6.7.1999.

1. The Commissioner & Director ofAgriculture, Hyderabad in his letter read above has reported that an amount ofRs.1,21,00,739-90 towards 1/5^th State’s share of compensation underExperimental Crop Insurance Scheme implemented during Rabi, 1997-98 season in Prakasam andMahabubnagar Districts has been paid to the Officer-in-charge, State Level Crop InsuranceCell, General Insurance Corporation, Hyderabad for full settlement (100%) vide cheque NO.295609, dated 3.5.1999 from the amount available in P.D. Account NO.2/320 of AndhraPradesh Comprehensive Crop Insurance Fund in anticipation of Government orders.

2. He has also stated that in the 18^thMeeting of State Level Fund Committee, on Crop Insurance held on 25.5.1999 in the Chambersof Chief Secretary to Government, have ratified the action taken by the Commissioner &Director of Agriculture in having paid an amount of Rs.1,21,00,739-90 under ExperimentalCrop Insurance Scheme.

3. He has, therefore, requested the Government toratify his action in having paid an amount of Rs. 1,21,00,739-90 (Rupees one crore twentyone lakh seven hundred and thirty nine and paise ninety only) to the Officer-in-charge,State Level Crop Insurance Cell, General Insurance Corporation, Hyderabad towards 1/5^thState’s share of compensation under Experimental Crop Insurance Scheme from theamount available in the P.D. Account 2/320 of the scheme.

4. This order issues with the concurrence of theFinance and planning (FW.EBS.XIII) department vide their U.O.No.422/6/A1/EBS.XIII/2000,     dt.22.01.2000.
